Will the couple arrange our flights to the wedding destinations?
While we would love to have everyone with us without any hassle, we are unable to cover the cost of flights for our guests. However, for guests travelling from overseas, we are delighted to provide accommodation, airport transfers and transportation to take guests from their accommodation to the event locations.
Please share your travel itinerary with us once you have booked it. We can also connect you with other guests who are travelling from the same location so you can travel together!

Do I need a visa to travel to India and/or Indonesia?
You may need a visa for both or either country depending on your nationality. Please check with your local embassies and also the below websites to ensure you follow the entry requirements:

Can I extend my stay in India and/or Indonesia?
If you plan to attend both the Kolkata and Lombok events, we would suggest you to arrive earlier in Kolkata OR stay longer in Lombok to avoid missing any important dates! More information on the events is provided on the home page.
Where should we book our accommodations?
For guests travelling from overseas, accommodation is provided for 2 to 3 nights in Kolkata (24- 26 Feb. 2025, these dates are flexible depending on your flight arrangements) and 2 nights in Lombok (27 Feb. - 1 Mar. 2025). If you wish to extend your stay further, please contact us for special rates from the hotels or other suggestions.
Are children welcome at the wedding?
Yes, children are warmly welcome to our wedding!
Will there be any cultural or traditional ceremonies we should be aware of?
Yes, we will be incorporating specific ceremonies, such as Haldi, Mehendi and a Bengali wedding into our celebration. Are there options for guests with dietary restrictions?
We will have a variety of local and international dishes. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions when you RSVP, and we will ensure there are delicious options available for you.
What is the dress code for the wedding?
We have provided attire suggestions for each of the events in Kolkata and Lombok. Please refer to the dress code page on this website. We can suggest local shops if you want to check out what is available.
Please consider our attire guidelines as just that—guidelines. We want you to feel your best and fully enjoy the celebration, so wearing what makes you comfortable is absolutely okay. Your presence is what matters most to us!

Can we take photos or videos during the ceremonies?
Yes, please do and share them with us. We will also have professional videos and photos taken during the events, we hope this is okay with you!
Is there a registry or preferred way for guests to contribute to the couple’s future?
We are so grateful that you are able to travel a long way and celebrate this important occasion with us - which is the greatest gift of all.
Should you wish to honor us with something more, we kindly ask that gifts be small in size or intangible.
Are India and Indonesia safe to visit for the wedding events?
Both India and Indonesia are popular tourist destinations known for their warm hospitality and rich cultural experiences. Like with any international travel, we recommend staying informed about the local customs and safety guidelines. We are taking measures to ensure that all wedding-related events are held in safe and secure locations. We ask that you still stay vigilant and avoid travelling anywhere by yourself or without the wedding party.
